Dr. Eli Beracha is a Professor, Department Chair and the Director of Tibor & Sheila Hollo School of Real Estate, at Florida International University. Dr. Beracha earned his Ph.D. in Finance with concentration in Real Estate from The University of Kansas. Since earning his Ph.D. in 2007, Dr. Beracha has published dozens of academic papers in leading Real Estate and Finance journals, many of which won best paper awards and featured in the popular press. In a recently published report by the Journal of Real Estate Literature, Dr. Beracha was ranked 3rd in the world for his real estate research productivity.
In addition to Dr. Beracha’s scholarly work, he also has over 20 years of practical real estate experience. Over the years, he consulted real estate funds that manage billions of dollars where he applies innovative quantitative models, advanced econometric techniques and sophisticated algorithms to his analysis.
Levenim Capital Partners is a multifamily and commercial real estate developer with over 20 years of experience in real estate asset management and development in the United States. Currently it has over $72 million of multifamily, commercial and retail real estate assets under management.
